These chewy Lucky Charms cookies combine nostalgic marshmallows with classic cookie dough for a fun, sweet treat perfect for kids and adults alike. Easy to make and packed with chewy, melty goodness.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour (315g)
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened (227g)
  • ¾ cup brown sugar (150g)
  • ½ cup granulated sugar (100g)
  • 2 large eggs, room temperature
  • 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 cups Lucky Charms cereal, chopped lightly (90g)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone mats.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. Using an electric mixer, beat the softened butter with brown sugar and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then add the vanilla extract and mix until combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing on low speed or folding with a spatula until just combined.
  6. Gently fold in the chopped Lucky Charms cereal, ensuring even distribution without crushing the marshmallows.
  7. Drop dough balls about 2 inches apart on the prepared baking sheets using a cookie scoop or tablespoon. Press down slightly.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until edges are golden but centers still look soft.
  9. Let cookies sit on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack to cool completely.

Notes

Chop Lucky Charms gently to keep marshmallows intact. Chill dough for 30 minutes if cookies spread too much. Use room-temperature butter and eggs for best texture. Avoid overmixing after adding flour to keep cookies chewy.
