A quick and easy homemade drink combining tart blackberry and blueberry juices with creamy coconut milk and fizzy club soda for a refreshing and playful beverage.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 oz (120 ml) blackberry juice, fresh or store-bought, preferably no added sugar
  • 4 oz (120 ml) blueberry juice, fresh or unsweetened bottled juice
  • 8 oz (240 ml) club soda or sparkling water
  • 2 oz (60 ml) coconut milk, canned full-fat or carton for lighter option
  • 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp simple syrup or honey (optional, adjust to taste)
  • Fresh blackberries and blueberries, a handful for garnish
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Chill your serving glasses in the fridge or freezer for about 10 minutes.
  2. In a shaker or large glass, combine 4 oz blackberry juice and 4 oz blueberry juice. Stir gently to blend flavors.
  3. Add 1 tablespoon of simple syrup or honey if desired, and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract. Stir until combined.
  4. Fill the chilled glass halfway with ice cubes.
  5. Slowly pour the berry juice mixture over the ice, filling the glass about halfway.
  6. Top off the glass with 8 oz club soda or sparkling water, pouring gently to preserve fizz.
  7. Slowly drizzle 2 oz coconut milk over the top to create a marbled effect.
  8. Garnish with fresh blackberries and blueberries. Stir gently just before drinking to mingle layers slightly.

Notes

Use fresh or high-quality unsweetened berry juices for best flavor. Chill glasses and ingredients beforehand to maintain fizz. Do not stir vigorously after adding coconut milk to preserve the marbled effect. Adjust sweetness to taste by adding syrup or honey gradually. Coconut milk is preferred over dairy milk to avoid curdling and maintain creaminess. Fresh ice is recommended to avoid off-flavors.
